Center for Implant Dentistry
It might be a front tooth lost to a bad fall, a molar that finally cracked under an old filling, or a tooth that never grew in at all. Wherever the gap is, you didn't just lose a tooth — you lost the ease of never thinking about your smile. Getting that back shouldn't take a year of referrals, follow-ups, and temporary plastic.

Since 2008, our family-owned practice has focused on dental implants. Our Fremont center handles all of it under one roof: consultation, 3D imaging, implant surgery, IV sedation, same-day teeth and every follow-up after. We are an implant center that manufactures and delivers your new tooth right after surgery — because the doctors, surgical suite, and milling lab work under one roof.
There are no salespeople here and nothing is outsourced — the doctor you meet on day one is the doctor who places your implant and stands behind it for life. It's how we've earned a 4.9-star Google rating and more than 600 reviews across Google and Yelp, and why patients drive in from well beyond the Bay Area to have a single tooth done right.

You chew on the other side. You smile a little tighter. You tell yourself it's just one tooth. But under the gum, a clock is running. The jawbone that held your tooth can lose up to half its width in the first year — most of it in the first three months. Bone only stays strong where a root keeps it working.
Then the quiet chain reaction begins. The neighbors lean into the space. The tooth above or below starts drifting out of its socket, reaching for a partner that isn't there. Your bite shifts, food traps where it never used to, and a one-tooth problem slowly becomes a three-tooth problem.
A single dental implant ends it: a titanium root, a custom abutment (the small connector between the root and the tooth), and a permanent crown milled steps from your chair, matched so precisely that most people will never know. For many qualifying patients we place the implant and the permanent tooth the same day — and if you're missing more than one, we restore multiple teeth in the same visit, the same way. With flexible financing, it's closer within reach than most people expect — what a single tooth implant really costs lays out the honest numbers.
Every option for a missing tooth makes you a different promise. A removable partial gets you through photos — but it comes out at night, and the bone underneath keeps shrinking. A bridge looks fixed, until you learn it's carried by two healthy neighbors that must be ground down to hold it, and that bridges typically need replacement every 5–10 years as those anchor teeth wear out.
An implant is the only choice that gives your jaw a working root again. It preserves the bone, leaves the neighbors untouched, and in long-term studies keeps working for decades — with long-term success rates commonly reported around 95%. That's why we'll always tell you honestly which option truly serves you, even when it isn't the one that pays us most.

No salespeople, no referral shuffle, no lab across the country. Your consultation, 3D scan, implant surgery and final teeth can all happen at either office — the same two owner doctors operate at both, and both are complete implant centers.

On day one you sit down with Dr. Jain or Dr. Gupta — the doctors who would actually place your implant — for a conversation about your tooth, your health, and what you want back.
A free medical-grade 3D CBCT scan maps the bone, nerves, and roots around your gap in fine detail, and our in-office Smile Simulator lets you preview your finished smile on screen before you commit to anything.
You leave with an engineered roadmap and every cost in writing — zero pressure, zero obligation. We'd rather prove our thinking than pitch you.

We refuse to guess with your anatomy. X-Guide™ dynamic 3D navigation and Navident EVO track the instrument against your CT scan in real time — turn-by-turn guidance inside your jaw.
That precision means your implant lands exactly where your bone is strongest, safely clear of nerves and sinuses, through a smaller opening than freehand surgery ever allows.
You're comfortable throughout — local anesthesia for most, IV sedation from ACLS-certified doctors if you'd rather sleep through it. Less swelling, faster healing, and for most patients, a normal day tomorrow.

While you rest, our in-house lab goes to work: your custom abutment and crown, milled from ultra-dense, FDA-cleared zirconia and refined by hand until the shade and bite disappear into the teeth around them.
Many qualifying patients receive their permanent tooth in as little as 24 hours — not a temporary, the final tooth. Missing several? The same workflow delivers multiple implants with permanent teeth in a single visit.
Other offices mail impressions away and leave you waiting weeks with a gap or a flipper. We simply never built our practice that way.

Your last appointment isn't the last time we know your name. Cleanings, check-ups, adjustments, and emergency help all stay with the same team that placed your implant — in the same offices we've operated since 2008.
If a question ever comes up, you have direct access to your doctor — not a call center, not whoever happens to be visiting that week.
That continuity matters clinically: the doctor who placed your implant knows exactly how it was seated, so problems get caught early instead of guessed at years later.
The Difference Under One Roof
Replacing a single tooth the conventional way means a healing cap, a wait, an impression posted to an outside lab, and another appointment. Here is that route beside ours.
The traditional implant route
Center for Implant Dentistry: In about 24 hours — 72 for a full arch
The traditional implant route: Up to 10+ months of waiting
Center for Implant Dentistry: A soft diet while the implants heal, on fixed teeth
The traditional implant route: Months of healing, often on a removable denture
Center for Implant Dentistry: Milled in our own lab, in this building
The traditional implant route: Shipped out to a third-party lab
Center for Implant Dentistry: The two owner doctors, every case
The traditional implant route: Often a visiting surgeon who flies out
Center for Implant Dentistry: The same doctors who placed them
The traditional implant route: A different dentist, months later
Center for Implant Dentistry: Free at your consultation
The traditional implant route: Commonly billed separately
Center for Implant Dentistry: As many as your bone needs, decided from your 3D scan
The traditional implant route: Often a fixed package count
Center for Implant Dentistry: Zygomatic implants, often without grafting
The traditional implant route: Months of grafting first, or a no
Center for Implant Dentistry: We take the case on
The traditional implant route: Usually referred somewhere else
Not everyone who comes in for a consultation is a candidate for same-day teeth, and timelines depend on your bone, your gum health, and your healing — your doctor confirms what applies to you after a clinical exam and 3D scan. The right-hand column describes the conventional staged implant protocol, not any particular practice.
The exam, the mill, and the zirconia your crown is shaped from — all of it on site in Fremont. Scroll through the lab that makes same-day teeth possible.

Consultation, surgery and final teeth — all here.

Two owner-doctors. One lab. One team.
One roof, start to finish
The consult, the surgery and the lab that mills your teeth are all in this building — which is why finals take about 72 hours here instead of months in someone else’s queue.

Family-owned since 2008
Two owner doctors, one lab, and 15,000+ patients treated in Fremont and San Francisco. The people who plan your case are the people who place it — and the ones you see when you come back.

A single implant, its abutment, and the custom zirconia crown are quoted as one bundle. What can change your total is what your tooth needs beyond that bundle — an extraction, bone grafting, or sedation — and each of those is itemized separately. How you'll find out is a promise: a free consultation with a medical-grade 3D CBCT scan (together a $499 value) and a plan with every cost on paper before you decide anything. Because we're family-owned and make everything in-house, there's no outside lab markup built into your price — and we compare offers from several trusted healthcare lenders to find the monthly payment that fits, with a prequalification that takes minutes and doesn't affect your credit score. The single-tooth cost guide walks through every line.
For many qualifying patients, yes — and we mean permanent, not a plastic temporary. Because our CAD/CAM milling lab is inside the practice, we can place your implant and deliver your final crown in as little as 24 hours. And when several teeth are missing, the same workflow restores multiple implants with permanent teeth in the same visit. Whether your case qualifies depends on the density of your bone and how firmly the implant seats — both measured at your free 3D scan, so you'll know before we begin, not after.
A front tooth is the hardest crown to get right, and it's exactly where having our own lab pays off. Your zirconia crown is custom-shaded and shaped a few steps from your chair — not mailed to a lab that has never seen your face — and the gumline is contoured so the new tooth emerges naturally, like it grew there. With our in-office Smile Simulator you can even preview the result on screen before you commit to anything. Our standard for a front tooth is simple: no one, including your old dentist, should be able to tell which one it is.
A bridge fills the gap by grinding down the two healthy teeth beside it — and it does nothing to stop the bone loss under the missing tooth. A bridge typically needs replacement every 5–10 years, often because one of those anchor teeth finally gives out. An implant replaces the root itself: your neighboring teeth stay untouched, your bone stays exercised and preserved, and long-term success rates are commonly reported around 95%. The full comparison lives on our implant vs bridge page. At your consultation we'll show you both options on your own scan and tell you plainly which one truly serves you.
You're in the majority, and you'll be okay. Placement is done under local anesthesia, and because X-Guide™ and Navident EVO navigation track the implant against your CT scan in real time, we work through smaller openings than traditional freehand surgery — which means less swelling and faster healing. If you'd rather remember none of it, IV sedation is available, administered by doctors certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Most patients are back to their normal routine the next day on nothing stronger than over-the-counter medication.
Almost never — but sooner is easier. The jaw can lose up to half the width of its bone in the first year after a tooth is lost, so older gaps sometimes need a graft to rebuild the foundation first. Your free 3D scan shows us exactly what's there, and we've spent nearly two decades restoring teeth other offices had written off. You'll get an answer based on your anatomy — never a policy.
An implant tooth has three parts working as one: the implant post (the new root in your bone), the crown (the visible tooth), and between them the abutment — the small connector the crown attaches to. It's a standard part of every implant, never an optional add-on, and it appears on your itemized estimate from day one. Offices choose between pre-made 'stock' abutments and custom ones; because our lab is in-house, we design and mill custom abutments matched to your gumline and bite whenever the aesthetics call for it — most often for the front teeth people see. If your plan uses a healing abutment first (a temporary cap that shapes the gum while the implant integrates), we'll explain that step before anything is scheduled.
We work with all PPO dental plans — we'll help maximize your reimbursement and handle the claims paperwork for you. We currently can't accept Medicaid, Medi-Cal, Medicare, or HMO (DMO) plans for implant procedures. If coverage falls short, our lending partners often make treatment far more manageable than people expect, and you'll see every number in writing before you commit to anything.
With good home care and regular check-ups, the implant itself can last decades — often the rest of your life — and the zirconia crown is engineered for everyday bite forces and cannot decay. The gums around an implant can still develop gum disease if plaque is left to sit, which is the one thing that shortens an implant's life, so the cleanings matter more than they sound. Caring for it is refreshingly ordinary: brush, floss, keep your cleanings. Your finished tooth is backed by the written warranty in your treatment plan — honored here, by the doctors who placed it, with no network fine print. And because we've been in the same place with the same doctors since 2008, the team that placed your implant is the team that watches over it, year after year.
No — tooth implant, teeth implant and dental implant are the same thing said three ways: a small titanium or zirconia post placed in the jaw where the root used to be, an abutment connecting it to the surface, and a crown on top that looks and works like the tooth you lost. People searching for tooth implants near me are usually after one thing, and it is the question worth asking any office: is the crown I leave with the final one? For qualifying single implants here it usually is, because the crown is designed and milled in the in-house lab; where the bone needs time first, your doctor tells you before surgery and the plan says so in writing.
Most of the single implants we place are for people who drove past several other offices to get here, from Newark, Union City and Milpitas next door to San Jose, Hayward, Oakland and Palo Alto across the bridge. A single tooth implant is usually one surgical visit and one fitting, so distance costs you an afternoon, not a season. If you are closer to the city, our Geary Boulevard office in San Francisco sees the same cases; each city page shows the drive, the route and what to plan for the day.
Every surgery carries risk, and the consent form you would read and sign before this treatment names each one. How likely each of these is depends on your health, your anatomy and the treatment planned. Your doctor goes through your own risk level, and the alternatives, at your consultation. You can read the full list now in the Dental Implant Placement Consent. If an implant ever fails, our failed-implant rescue page explains how it is handled.
Still weighing your options? Learn more about full mouth dental implants or schedule a free consultation.

Even one tooth is a decision you'll live with for decades. The most costly mistakes we see: buying a teaser price instead of an itemized quote, never asking who actually performs the surgery, accepting the minimum plan by default, ignoring where the tooth is made, and signing under a deadline. We've turned them into the questions to ask any provider — including us — and we'll walk through every one at your free consultation.

My son has problems with his teeth for so many years until today. He finally got his new teeth. It looks wonderful. You should try it. You won’t be sorry from a loving mothers view.

I came into the office not knowing what to expect. I have had partials on my upper and lower teeth for years and been frustrated with the fit changing, parts falling off etc. so when I came to get a quote on implants I was hopeful. This place surpasses all that I could imagine. After the consult, I had my first appointment the next day. 3 days later I had all my teeth extracted. On the fifth day I had my new teeth. Unbelievable. I feel 20 years younger. Highly recommend. 5 Stars easy would give 10 if it was available.

I recently visited Center for Implant Dentistry after developing an infection around a crowned tooth. My regular dentist wasn't able to treat the problem and referred me to a specialist. A friend who had undergone a bone graft procedure there about a year ago recommended this facility, so I decided to schedule a free consultation. From the moment I arrived, I had a great experience. I met Neel, a very knowledgeable and friendly young gentleman who was easy to talk to. He explained the types of procedures they perform and how they specialize in dental implants and complex dental cases. After asking about my concerns, he quickly took some pictures using their advanced technology. Just a few minutes later, I met Dr. Jain. He took the time to discuss my dental problem and thoroughly explained the recommended treatment plan in a way that was simple and easy to understand. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I understood my options. Then came the biggest surprise! Dr. Jain asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment that same day. I was shocked because I had only come in for a consultation! Since I was already off work, I decided to take care of the problem right away. Dr. Jain extracted my infected tooth, cleaned out the infection, and placed the implant--all in the same visit! I never expected to have everything done that day, but I was grateful that they were able to address the problem so quickly. I also found the cost reasonable, considering the complexity of the procedure and how quickly they were able to take care of my situation. They accepted my dental insurance and FSA, which helped save me a significant amount of money. Neel provided a detailed treatment plan and explained the costs, including what my insurance would cover. I really appreciated the transparency and the time he took to help me understand the financial side of my treatment. Because it was getting late, they weren't able to finish my temporary crown that day, so I had to return the following day to have it completed. Overall, I'm very grateful for the care I received at Center for Implant Dentistry. From Neel's excellent communication and helpful guidance to Dr. Jain's thorough explanation and treatment, the entire experience was reassuring and efficient. Kudos to all their staff . Very friendly and professional . I highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs specialized dental care or dental implants. They made what could have been a very stressful experience much easier than I expected!

I did a lot of research before choosing a doctor for my dental implant treatment. After comparing different options, including ClearChoice, I decided to visit Dr. Jain. He explained the entire All-on-8 treatment process in detail and made me feel much more confident about my decision. One thing that really impressed me was that they have their own in-house dental lab, which makes the entire process more convenient and efficient. Dr. Jain and his team pay attention to every detail. They don’t just focus on completing the treatment; they also make sure the final smile looks beautiful and natural. I am very happy with my experience and the results. I highly recommend Dr. Jain and the Center for Implant Dentistry to anyone considering full-mouth dental implants I choose right away I don’t because I thought dr Jain has a great knowledge in implntology over 20 year experience .

I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Center for Implant Dentistry in Fremont, and I genuinely believe this amazing team deserves special recognition. Before deciding where to get my dental implants, I spent a lot of time researching different providers and treatment options. Having had dental implants before, I knew how important it was to choose experienced, qualified professionals. This wasn't a decision I took lightly, and I'm so glad I chose this team. I want to give a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Jain, Dr. Gupta, and the entire clinical staff. Because my dental situation was particularly complex and far from a typical case, my surgery started around 5:00 PM and didn't finish until approximately 2:30 AM the next morning. That's nearly nine and a half hours! What truly impressed me wasn't just how long they worked, but the patience, professionalism, and dedication they showed every step of the way. I especially want to recognize the staff members who stayed with the doctors throughout those long hours. Their hard work, care, and commitment were just as important to my experience, and they absolutely deserve recognition. I truly appreciate everything they did. Today marks exactly one week since my surgery, and I've already received my new teeth. I'm extremely happy with how they look and with my experience so far. I understand that healing takes time, but everything up to this point has been wonderful. To Dr. Jain, Dr. Gupta, and every single member of the team, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My family and I are incredibly grateful for the care and dedication you've shown me. You've earned not only my gratitude, but also my genuine respect. I couldn't be happier with my decision to trust this team with my smile!

A back tooth endures some of the strongest forces in the human body, thousands of times a day. That isn't a cosmetic problem — it's an engineering problem. Dr. Sam Jain holds both a dental degree and a master's in mechanical engineering — a rare combination that changes how your implant is planned: the angle, the depth, the torque, the way your crown carries load — calculated like a structure meant to stand for decades, because it is.
It's also why nothing leaves the building. Your scan, your surgery, your custom abutment, your zirconia crown milled down the hall — one team, one standard, no third-party lab guessing at your bite. Cutting out the middlemen doesn't just make your tooth better — it takes the outside-lab markup and the franchise overhead out of your bill, and your itemized written quote shows exactly what's left.
If you've been living around a missing tooth — for a month or for twenty years — come see us in Fremont or San Francisco. The 3D scan is free, the plan is honest, and the decision is always yours.
